By using PasteDB, you agree to the following terms. Please read carefully.
PasteDB is a developer tool that allows users to create and share text-based pastes. All pastes are public by default and accessible via link.
Google login is used for authentication. Logged-in users can manage (edit/delete) their own pastes. Non-logged users can create pastes without ownership control.
You retain ownership of your content. However, by publishing a paste, you grant PasteDB permission to store and serve it publicly.
Users are fully responsible for the content they publish. Illegal, harmful, or abusive content is strictly prohibited.
Logged-in users' pastes are stored in MongoDB and linked to their account. Anonymous pastes may not be editable or deletable later.
PasteDB may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.
1. No AI Training or Data Sale
We do not use any pastes, images, or user content to train AI models. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or AI training purposes. Your content is only used to provide the PasteDB service to you.
2. Data Storage & Liability
All pastes and uploaded images are stored using MongoDB Atlas and Cloudinary. While we take reasonable measures to secure your data, PasteDB is not liable for data loss, corruption, or breaches that occur due to MongoDB Atlas outages, security incidents, or factors outside our direct control. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important pastes.
3. Password-Protected & Private Pastes
When you mark a paste as "Private" or add a password, it is not listed publicly. Do not store highly sensitive information like passwords, bank details, or personal IDs on PasteDB.
