Create a free PasteDB account and generate an API key from your dashboard.
Open the PasteDB dashboard inside VS Code and paste your API key. Configure visibility, expiration and other settings.
Right-click any file or selected text and choose one of the PasteDB upload commands.
Your paste is uploaded instantly. Copy the generated URL or open it directly in your browser.
Open the PasteDB sidebar in VS Code and choose the paste you want to update.
Right-click the paste and choose Update Paste. PasteDB opens the existing content in a new editor.
Modify the code directly in the new VS Code editor. Your existing paste content is loaded automatically.
When you're ready, press Ctrl + Shift + U to start the update process.
Configure the paste title, visibility, expiration and other metadata from the update panel.
Click Update and your existing PasteDB paste is updated without creating a new paste.

Yes. You'll need a free PasteDB account to generate an API key for uploading pastes.
Log in to your PasteDB account and open the Dashboard then go to menu then Generate API Key to generate and manage your API keys.

No. You cannot make Private pastes from the PasteDB VS Code extension as private pastes are encrypted and for now i am making it simple as possible, I will plan of making encrypted pastes also.

After selecting Update Paste, the existing paste content opens in a new VS Code editor. Edit the code and press Ctrl + Shift + U to continue.
